You can select different columns to appear in your main table views (Sires, Dams, Offspring and Search). Here’s how:
From the Options menu, select the type of livestock you want to work with, then select the appropriate Customize option that matches the view you want to modify.
The list on the left contains the list of available data elements. The list on the right contains the list of data elements currently in the view.
Select values from either list and use the left/right green arrows to add or remove them from the selected columns list.
Select values in the list on the right and use the up/down green arrows to arrange their order.
If you want to change the name of the column (NOTE: you cannot change a column’s meaning) for instance to abbreviate it. Select the value in the list on the right, and change the value in the Column Name field at the bottom.
When you are finished, click the Finish button to save your changes.
If you ever just want to restore the defaults, there is a Reset button which you can use to restore the view.
This technique is especially useful for creating customized reports, especially when used with the Animal Search view.
